U13

The current Worthys U13’s team have been together for 4 years playing in the TWYFL and has just completed its first season playing on a full size pitch. They have adapted well during the season and managed a very respectable fourth place finish.
The team comprises mainly of local boys which the majority have enjoyed playing together for three years.
Our most successful year was 2003/2004 when we won The Supplementary Cup, Jock McClorey Cup and was awarded The Sportsmanship Shield.
The emphasis in training and league games is team work, fitness and stamina, our philosophy is positive reinforcement from coaches and spectators on the correct things the players achieve which in turn improves confidence and individual ball skills.
