The current Worthys U14’s team have been together for 6 years playing in the TWYFL.
The team started in 2000/01 season as the U8’s predominantly consisting of players who were too young to join the U9’s league team.
During the 2000/01 season the team trained and played the occasional friendly match, but it wasn’t until the 2001/02 season that they played their first league matches.
The team have continued to play in the TWYFL for the past six years, with the main highlight being that of winning the Jock McClorey Tournament in 2001.
The team continues to hold its’ own within the league maintaining mid-table performance during each season.
The team squad continues to grow year on year with the large majority of children coming from the local area
