Worthys Girls U14S A

Worthy's Girls Under 14A was formed in August 2005. In their first season in Division 2 of the Winchester and District Girls Football League the girls finished the season in third place. During the summer of 2006 the girls won the Brockham Nr Reigate tournament and finished up runners up in the Fareham and Granley Tournaments.

This season 2006/7 the girls have gone from strength to strength maintaining a 100% winning record in both cup and league, The team have reached the final of the cup out of 22 entries and are currently top of Division one with a margin of 16 points. The Cup Final will be played against our own B team on the 5th May at the Garrison Ground in Winchester. One of the highlights of our season was beating Bournemouth Girls Academy 5-0 away from home in a friendly.

Throughout the summer of 2007 we will be entering several tornaments.

Next season we will be moving to 11 a side  and we will be pleased to receive enquiries from girls who are committed and enthusiastic. The likelihood is we will be playing on Sundays. For more details e mail: grahame@therobbfamily.net
