WE ARE IN THE CUP FINAL !

Well done girls with a 2-1 win in Extra time and a tough but fair game on Saturday you are now through to the cup final on May 5th. We are all proud of you, it is one heck of an achievement for a team that was newly formed this season and with a squad of only 7 (for most of the season) to go head to head with division 1 teams and come through with a win. Good luck in the final against our A team just go and enjoy yourselves you all deserve it.

Well done A team for winning against Salisbury on Saturday to go through to the cup final too. You had a tough game and going to penalties you showed true strength of character. Well done Fran, what superb goalkeeping. We will do our best to give you a good game on May 5th.

 

January 2007

We now have a settled team and are working well together and having fun both at training and in matches. We are now sixth in our division in the Winchester Girls U14 league and are half way through the season. The girls have all progressed well and we have seen a great improvement in the way they read the game and work together. Contiune to have fun girls and good luck for the rest of the season.

September 2006

The U14’s B team have been formed this season and are a new team. We are really starting to work well as a team with players from both years 8 and 9. Every player is putting in 100% effort and the team has a really good team spirit. We are in division 2 of the Winchester District Girls Football League. The team has gelled well and we always have fun and enthusiasm whatever the result of a match. Our ethos is teamwork, teamwork and teamwork; because without it a team will not go far. Every player counts!
