Worthys U9's

The Worthys YFC U9s team started playing competitive football in the 2005/6 season and is thus now in only its second year of playing together. The emphasis to date has been on building the team, learning the basics and – most importantly – enjoying playing football together. Our Testway Youth Football League position at the end of the season, close to the bottom of the table, reflected this period of growth and development. The team did however do well in the Jock McClorey cup, evidence of the significant progress made over the season.

We are always looking for new players (enthusiasm is more important than skill), including both girls and boys. Parents willing to lend a hand are also most welcome.

The team trains on Sunday mornings at Eversley Park, Kings Worthy, between 09.30 and 10.30 a.m. Matches in the Testway Youth Football League are played on Saturday mornings.
